Giving Public Service Workers Big Savings When Buying a Home

Hello, this is David Xie with the Xie Mortgage Team, and today I want to talk to you about a program that's really near and dear to my heart. So I live in the United States of America, and I know that in America, some of the things that we take for granted like our freedom, our health, and everything else, those service workers are not appreciated as much as they should be.

So the doctors, EMTs, the teachers, the school bus drivers, the janitors at the schools, your firefighters, your police officers. They are definitely the core of our country, the military personnel, they are the core of why we have this freedom and this beautiful land that we live in.

So I wanted to tell you about this wonderful program that I am a part of called Homes for Heroes. Homes for Heroes was developed shortly after 9/11, and it is a savings program for those service workers to give back. Whether it be part of our real estate agents commission. Settlement agents are part of it, and myself as a loan officer, I'm part of it.

So how the program works is if you are interested in purchasing a home or refinancing a home and you want to take a loan out or purchase and use one of the agents on the network, as well as the title companies on the network, you will get a discount on all three of those services. It really is a no-brainer.

And in today's market, you interview multiple loan officers on the network, you can interview multiple realtors on the network. You can even even interview multiple title companies or title partners on the network and just find out if they're a good fit. And if they are, and you're going to use those services anyways, why not get paid back for it?
